I was astounded how large and detailed it was , even in its unrestored commonwealth . I rise up with this exemplar and it always seemed like its own larger-than-life quality in the show . So I tookactual photos of the model as it is todayand re - composited the photos into the Star Trek feature photographic film shot . I think the poser still hold up beautifully , peculiarly when it is in good order dismount and the ship ’s light are illuminated . I did my good to replicate the proper light and spirit of the ship when I composited it into these noted Star Trek motion-picture show scenes .
