There are raft of things to be irritate with about Batman and Harley Quinn . It look cheap , it cuts more quoin than it should , and it feel much more like an average idiot box episode than an existent movie . But the big problem is how much it degrade Harley Quinn , turning a dear character into an “ Idiot Meat Skank . ” And those are the pic ’s give-and-take , not mine .
Batman and Harley Quinn is DC ’s newest animated original movie , only a few picture show absent from the disaster that was its adjustment of The Killing Joke , which was pan off for how badly it handled the character of Barbara Gordon . That film worsened an already awful storyline about Batgirl ’s paralyzation by also create her desperate to fuck Batman . That ’s not to say Batman and Harley Quinn writer Bruce Timm , who also produced The Killing Joke , needed this new moving-picture show to atone for the previous one ’s sin .
But I am tell he should ’ve done literally anything else but a movie that reduce Harley Quinn to tits , ass , and horniness . I mean , here ’s where we receive our nominal conscientious objector - star :

For some reason , the movie devotes two whole minutes to a musical number , whichyou can watch here . Or chink out her sexy and meaningful relationship with Poison Ivy in DC Bombshells . Her whole part has major intimate undertones , and there ’s nothing wrong with explore them in a more adult film like this one . But this PG-13 flick is n’t concerned in explore Harley ’s sex , it just desire to show you her in her underclothing , or have a conclusion - up of her jiggling boobs .
And Batman and Harley Quinn does n’t even have a decent enough story to even pretend it ’s more than fan table service . perchance the secret plan would fulfil a kid , like the less B : TAS episodes , but it ’s way too objectifying to let a kid see it . Harley Quinn deserves a lot better than this movie . And after The Killing Joke slaughter , DC buff deserve a mountain better , too .
