Brooke Shieldsis adopting a less is more skincare routine — and loving it.
“Who has the time?” the actress, author and entrepreneur, 58, says while speaking exclusively to PEOPLE about the secrets of her regimen.
ATrue Botanicalsbrand ambassador since 2021, Shields says she was drawn to the women-founded skincare company’s easy-to-use and effective formulas. These days she has two faves, its Chebula Serum and Moisturizer.
Her low-key approach is paying off.
“Now makeup artists are saying things [to me] like, ‘Your skin looks great.’ And it’s unsolicited!” she says.
Skincare isn’t the only area of her routine that she’s re-evaluated.
“I’ve gone back to basics,” she shares. Most days it’s just a spritz of her fragrance and a swipe of her must-have face balm and mascara before she works out the door.
But really, it’s about putting the focus on feeling good from the inside out.
“My beauty philosophy is: If you feel good, you’re going to look better, and you’re also going to take better care of yourself.”
