The three - spaceman work party will launch on control board a Long March 2F Eruca vesicaria sativa on Tuesday at 10:08 a.m. ET from China ’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center . China unwrap the astronauts that will be taking off to the distance station at a closet conference on Monday . The Shenzhou-15 crew consist of Commander Fei Junlong and crewmates Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu , Space.comreported .
The trio will spend about six months on control panel the Tiangong quad post , briefly overlapping with their predecessors . TheShenzhou-14 crew arrived at the distance stationin June , and are expected to make their rejoinder to Earth within the next few Day .
Although their time together on the outer space station will be brief , it will strike out the first crew handover for the Formosan quad station . The Tiangong quad station is China ’s answer to the International Space Station , and is designed to host astronaut as they conduct experiment and inquiry in the orbit lab .
In October , China launched the third and final moduleof Tiangong , complete the T - mold bodily structure of its three - module blank station in low Earth ambit . China is hoping to keep a unceasing flow of astronauts on add-in Tiangong , and to begin operations of the space post by the end of the year .
