And then I think , ‘ Okay , we can still do it with Charlize [ Theron ] and then I realize these other movies like The Irishman and they made people vernal . And specially I saw Gemini Man — and it ’s just , all I was looking at was the technology . I was n’t see at the performance . I recall , ‘ We ca n’t do this , guys . ’ This is someone who goes from 10 to 18 , ” he say . His decision to recast included finding a young thespian to toy Furiosa as a minor , with Alyla Browne get such a immense chunk of time as the fictitious character , it does n’t feel like Anya Taylor - Joy took up the entirety of the role .

[ There was ] a little model on the table and every Warboy had a little model [ figure ] , and we literally playing like child , allege , okay , ‘ You move that way and I move this way , the television camera does this , and I get drink down and fall off here . ’ All of that had to be worked out fritter away by gibe . Every guessing was rehearsed — we were able to do that digitally . ”
