I ’m like a hundred long time old , ” she just assumed that translated to Melody being an quondam somebody . As for why it was prevent secluded , she reasoned it came from her persona being “ a different kind of ghost ” for the series . Instead of being strictly disorderly or malefic , Melody ’s “ a wraith with a centre , ” similar to Ghost Egon in Ghostbusters : Afterlife . “ [ She ] has a full human relationship , so I think that there was a part of them that really need to catch multitude off guard in that sense . ”

In the film , Melody ’s stay in limbo after her sept give out in a mansion fire she personally feels responsible for . They ’re cut from the same cloth and ousiders in their own way . [ … ] And now they ’re connecting on this grandiose grade in two dissimilar dimensional planes , and they ’re just trying to figure out this existence together . I like that we did n’t define it as one thing or another . Sometimes , when masses do that , it ruins it . It ’s too concrete and inviolable , and they ’re so not absolute as characters . ”
