The Oscar winner, 51, took part in anAsk Me Anything (AMA) Q&Aon her Instagram Story Friday, when she was asked to share her “fave pic” of herself and the 17-year-old she shares with ex-husbandChris Martin.
Instead of a posed portrait or selfie, Paltrow instead shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call between herself and her son. In the shot, a shirtless Moses stood outside with the blue sky behind him, while the actress appeared smiling in a smaller image in the top left corner.
“I love unsuspecting screen shots of FaceTimes,” Paltrow wrote with the image.

The sweet snap comes after, Paltrow — who, along with Moses, also shares daughterApple, 19, with Martin, 47 — discussed her “incredible sadness” that her teenage son will soon be embarking on the next chapter of his life.
In a recent interview withThe Sunday Times, the actress revealed that both she and husband Brad Falchuk, 53, who has two children, Isabella, 19, and Brody, 17, from a previous marriage, are preparing for their boys to take on college.
“In the fall, Brad and I have boys that will be going off to university,” Paltrow told the publication. “It’ll be interesting to see how the morning routine changes with no kids in the house.”
“On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending grief,” the actress further explained of her emotions about the departure of her kids. “On the other hand, this is exactly what should be happening.”

She added, “Your kids are supposed to be, you know, young adults who can achieve and cope and make connections and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means they leave the house.”
As well as touching on parenting, Paltrow alsodiscussed relationships in her Friday AMA Q&A.
“No thanks!” she responded, adding, “Not for me but have no judgment. I’m a one man kinda gal.”
