Millennium Media ’s upcoming version ofMike Mignola’sHellboyhas found its Big Red . Jack Kesy ( The Strain ) will star inThe Crooked Man .
The celluloid , from Brian Taylor ( Crank ) , will get across the events of the comic ’s 2008 “ Crooked Man ” running game , with a handwriting write by Mignola and Chris Golden . The floor , as share by Millennium Media in the waiver , follow Hellboy and a rookie BPRD federal agent stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia , where they “ see a little biotic community haunt by witches , go by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy ’s past : the Crooked Man . ”
Kesy most of late was featured in Deadpool 2 as Black Tom Cassidy and asterisk in Guillermo Del Toro ’s goggle box series The Strain , which means the actor has a digressive connection to the first version of the Hellboy film serial ( we will always commemorate what we could have had ) . Millennium Media atomic number 27 - president Jonathan Yunger said of the casting , “ Jack Kesy is a dynamic role player who has the power to morph into his roles . His talent and stature are double-dyed for this young Hellboy . I was very impressed with him while working together on [ 2019 film ] The Outpost . ”
