This is a bitspoilery , so I wo n’t gointo details , but there ’s decidedly some footage here of monster that we have n’t seen ( on film ) before . We do , however , get tosee the owlbearagain .
Honestly , I ’m surprise they ’re giving this much away ! We have my favorite high-risk puss , the displacer brute , and we ’re finally seeing the infamous intellectual devourer which was the root of much consternation when the poster was released , because the art used onthe posterwas superposable to the prowess published in a Pathfinder Bestiary . Granted , they are the same beast ; the Intellect Devourer is in the Systems Reference Document previously released under the Open Gaming License 1.0a , but the dispute between D&D ’s portraying and Pathfinder ’s depicting is what nominate the drone vs. the bill an interesting reveal .

There are some great goliath in D&D , and I ’m interested to see what other beasties and creepy - crawlies they pull out of the Bestiary . You ’ve already heardmy theory about a dracolich , let ’s see if it flies out on screen .
