Ben AffleckandJennifer Lopezare officially single.
Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, initiallyrekindled their romancein 2021 andmarried in an intimate Las Vegas ceremonyin July 2022. They later celebrated their nuptials with aceremony in Georgiain front of friends and family on Aug. 20, 2022.
Lopezfiled for divorce exactly two years after the Georgia ceremony, listing April 26, 2024, as the couple’s date of separation and citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
She filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court without a lawyer, requesting no spousal support for either party, for attorney’s fees to be split, and noted that the “exact nature” of their community, quasi-community assets, and separate property and obligations are “unknown” and “will be determined.” In addition, Lopez also requestedthat her former name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez, be restored.

Since the exes finalized their divorce in January, both Lopez and Affleck have remained busy with work. Lopez appeared at theSundance Film Festivalin January to premiere her new movie musicalKiss of the Spider Woman, which Affleck produced through his company Artists Equity.
Affleck recently appeared in a new Dunkin' Donuts commercial alongside hisCasey Affleckas theyrevived the DunKings in a Super Bowl spot, which also featured actorJeremy Strong, former New England Patriots head coachBill Belichickand his girlfriendJordon Hudson.
Affleck will head back to the big screen soon with the upcoming release ofThe Accountant 2, a sequel to his 2016 action-thrillerThe Accountant.That movie sees Affleck reprise his role as Christian Wolff andJon Bernthalas his brother Brax. It will premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 8 and hit theaters on April 25.
