Khloé Kardashianis committed to raising her daughter to know just how special she is.
In an interview withThe Daily Telegraph’sStellarmagazine, theKeeping Up with the Kardashiansstar, 34, opened up about how every day she and daughterTrue, 10 months, say “positive affirmations” together.
“As silly as it sounds, I dopositive affirmationswith her in the morning,” theRevenge Bodyhost remarked, adding that even though “it so corny,” they “sit in front of the mirror” and say, “I am beautiful.”
Continuing, the proud mama shared, “It’s my job to make her feel, no matter what she looks like, that she is strong and confident and beautiful, and it’s OK to embrace all different shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. My whole family is a melting pot of race and skin tone and hair color and height — everything. That’s our reality and our children need to know how beautiful diversity is.”
This isn’t the first time the Good American co-founder has opened up about their mommy-daughter affirmations.
“I do affirmations with True every single day,” she toldRefinery29in December. “She’s only a few months old, but we stand in the mirror and I say something to her reflection, and I pretend she’s saying it back to herself.”
Continuing on the self-love train, Kardashian went on to share that shewants True to grow uptreatingmakeupas “something you enjoy” rather than something that’s necessary in order to leave the house.
Of course, a love of makeup does run in the family, and earlier this week, Kardashian had some fun experimenting with a lipstick shade from her and BFFMalika Haqq‘s collaboration with BECCA Cosmetics, along with the help ofRob KardashianandBlac Chyna‘s 2-year-old daughterDream.
In a series of clips posted on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, the toddler looked straight into the camera while adorablyapplying the lipstick shade all around her mouth.
“Wow. I think you have enough on, mama,” said Khloé, prompting Dream to turn and apply some of the color to her aunt’s mouth instead.

Helping out her adorable niece, Khloé pointed at the side of her mouth, telling Dream, “I think you missed a spot over here. You forgot to put some here.”
However, Dream takes her own route and hilariously applies the lipstick to her aunt’s chin, causing the Good American designer to laugh and accept her fate. “Hm. Looks pretty good,” she announced, nodding in approval.
