“Mama used to make this,” she added, seemingly referring to what she hoped her kids would say someday.

Meghan’s friendKelly McKee Zajfenthen added of Harry, 40, “He is a great cook,” which Meghan, 43, agreed with: “He is,” she said. “He made great scrambled eggs the other morning.”

On theGolden Globes red carpeton Jan. 5,Mindy Kaling— who also appears inWith Love, Meghan— confirmed the accounts about Harry’s cooking abilities. Though Kaling said Harry “was there, but he didn’t cook for me,” she continued, “I heard he’s actually a pretty good cook,” adding that he “knows his way around a kitchen.”

While the show celebrates some of Meghan’s passions such a cooking, entertaining and gardening, Harry does make an appearance in the finale episode of the series, when Meghan hosts a celebration brunch for some of her nearest and dearest.

“I love a brunch party. There’s just something really charming about it, and I think it’s a great way to connect,” Meghan said in episode eight.

“Of course, my husband will be here, my mom will be here, my best friend since college — just my community, having a brunch in the sunshine with the people that I love, celebrating this next chapter of my life,” she continued.

“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection; we’re in the pursuit of joy,” Meghan said.

When Harry arrives at the brunch, he and Meghan lean in and share a quick kiss. At one point, Meghan cuddles up to Harry and says, “Good, right?” referring to his drink.

“Well done,” Harry said. “You did a really great job. I love it.”

Meghan later makes a toast in front of her loved ones: “I just want to raise a glass to you guys. This feels like a new chapter that I’m so excited that I get to share when I’ve been able to learn from all of you. So just thank you for all the love and support.”

“Thank you for loving me so much and celebrating with me,” she continued. “Cheers, guys.”

“To you!” Harry added.

“To love,” Meghan said. “Can’t end on a better note than that.”

Elsewhere in the series, Meghan mentioned that her bacon “brings my husband and three dogs to the kitchen — not my perfume,” and revealed that Harry might have some competition in the breakfast-making department: Meghan herself!

“I wake up every morning and take a lot of pride in making breakfast for my family,” she said elsewhere inWith Love, Meghan.

Speaking more about her mornings in anexclusive interview with PEOPLE, Meghan says, “I’m up before my kids are, so I’m normally up at 6:30, and then I get them up and dressed for the day, and we go downstairs. I love making breakfast for my family.”

“My husband and Archie both love fried eggs,” the Duchess of Sussex adds. “There’s a lot of bacon around here. And then sometimes you don’t have time for all that, and you just put a frozen waffle in the toaster and call it a day. And there’s no shame in that either.”

Not surprisingly, Meghan identifies food as one of her love languages. “Even before I was a mom, I loved being able to nurture in that way,” she says. “Some of my favorite childhood moments are the meals that my mom would make. She’d make a lot of soul food. I remember she’d taken a Thai cooking class, so every week we had Thai BBQ chicken and spring rolls. I remember those flavors so well, and I want my kids to have those same formative memories of things that I cook. We call them Mama Meals, and those are the ones that I hope they come back to when they’re older, when they’re married, and they have their own kids, and they go, ‘Oh, let’s have a Mama Meal.’ And it’s the same roast chicken I’ve been making since they were little.”
