Phoebe Gateswas feeling the love for her mom and dad at one of their foundation’s biggest events!
Phoebe attended and moderated a panel at theBill and Melinda Gates Foundation’sGoalkeepers Foundationevent on Wednesday in New York City.
Phoebe, who has used her prominent family’s platform to advocate for a variety of issues—including reproductive rights—discussed entrepreneurship, agency and gender equity with Kloss and author Kathryn Finney during a panel she moderated.
DadBill Gates, 67, even gave Phoebe a sweet shout-out on his Instagram Story, writing that she “did a remarkable job speaking about the importance of women’s power.”

Beyond the foundation events, the last two weeks have been pretty busy for the Gates family.
The former spouses, whoannounced their separationin 2021 after 27 years of marriage, reunited to celebrate their youngest daughter’s birthday on Sept. 14.
Earlier in the day, the proud parents shared tributes in honor of their youngest’s milestone birthday.
“Happy birthday, @phoebegates!You’ll always be my little girl, but watching you do big things has never surprised me,” Bill wrote on Instagram alongside a series of throwback father-daughter shots.
Meanwhile, in a FaceTime callshared on Instagram, Melinda gave her daughter advice for her 21st year. She told Phoebe to remember that she knows herself “a lot” and to not “ever forget who you are.”
“I love you so so much,” the philanthropist and global advocate added.

Last month, Phoebe and roommate Sophia Kianni—who are teaming up to launch digital fashion platformPhia—debuted a limited-edition capsule bag collectionin collaboration with fashion designerStella McCartney.
In an interview earlier this year withThe Information, Phoebe hinted at Phia’s mission.
“We’re building out an idea to help make fashion more sustainable. We have so much planned for this year,” Phoebe said at the time.
